The Poultry Farming Assistance Scheme is designed to support individuals interested in establishing or expanding poultry farming operations. The scheme provides financial assistance, technical guidance, and marketing support to ensure sustainable livelihoods and promote entrepreneurship in rural areas.

Any permanent resident of the state between 18-60 years of age can apply. Priority is given to women, SC/ST candidates, and other disadvantaged groups.
The scheme provides a subsidy of ₹30,000 per unit for 50 birds and ₹40,000 per unit for 100 birds or more. Additional support for feed and equipment may also be available.
