Empowering Traditional Artisans and Craftspeople across India
The scheme covers 18 traditional trades in the first instance, providing comprehensive support to artisans and craftspeople who have been practicing these trades for generations.
Artisans will receive PM Vishwakarma certificate and ID card for official recognition. This provides them with formal acknowledgment of their skills and craftsmanship.
Credit support up to ₹1 lakh initially, then up to ₹2 lakh at concessional interest rate of 5%. Additional toolkit incentive of ₹15,000 with additional ₹15,000 support.
